Nell Fisher

Nell Samford Fisher,
native of Owen County, KY and resident of Prairieville, LA passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. She was a retired OR nurse with over 20 years of service at OLOL. Nell was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Wax and husband Daryl, and Susan Laverty and husband Scott six grandchildren, Jessica and Taylor Wax, Elizabeth, Sarah, Hannah, and David Laverty and wife Paige greatgrandchildren, Jackson Laverty sister, Lottie Mae Koehler and special friend, Paula Speed. She now joins her beloved husband, Jerry Ray Fisher parents, Harry and Nora Samford.

Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 3:00 pm6:00 pm. Visiting will resume on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral time will be held at 10:00 am, conducted by Deacon Jim Wax. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
