Neil Bordelon

Nathaneil “Neil” Joseph Bordelon, 69, native of Hessmer, LA and resident of Prairieville, LA passed away on February 12, 2020 at home. He was an LSU Chemical Engineering graduate, and member of Phi Beta Kappa. He started his career in environmental remediation, and later worked for GDC Engineering including the cleanup of Love Canal, New York. He went on to become a home builder with Three B Construction LLC and subdivision developer for B & B Office Holdings LLC. He was a member of HBAGBR and Broadmoor United Methodist Church.

Neil is survived by his wife, Cathy Borne Bordelon; five children, Jason Bordelon, Matthew Bordelon (Denise), Nicholas Bordelon (Deby), Susan Dawson, and Kara Samson (Jason). Also survived by grandchildren, Madison, Christian, Breanna, Skyler, Brynan, Kendall, Brennan, Brogan, and Sofie; sisters Jane Broussard and Janice Guillory (Dr. Bruce Guillory). He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph P., Jr. and Alma Jean Bordelon.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
