Nathan Francis Ruh, a loving father, son, and friend to all who knew him, left us on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008. Little I knew that morning, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Nathan was 44 and a native of Baton Rouge. A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 10:30 a.m. Nathan is survived by his three sons, Brandon, Kevin and Austin Ruh, and their mother, Sharon Ruh Reine; grandson, Evan Ruh; mother, Ethel Ruh; three brothers, Russell Ruh Jr. and wife Tammy, David Ruh and fiance Pam Green, and Craig Ruh and wife Dorothy; and sister, Denise Overton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, Brittany and Bryan Tricou, Stephen and Tiffany Buuck, Jeremy Buuck, Jonathan Ruh, Stephanie and Jonathon Melancon, Mallory Ruh, Morgan Ruh and Ashley Ruh; and great-niece, Ainsley Buuck. Preceded in death by his father, Russell Ruh Sr.; and grandparents, William and Ethel Kiesel.
