Naomi Roubique

Naomi Roth Roubique, age 85, a resident of East Baton Rouge, passed away on May 21, 2018. She was a graduate of St. Anthony Catholic High School. She was a founding member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Baton Rouge and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, Council #6531.

Naomi is survived by her children - Linda Rojas (Colen), Laurie Petty (Steve), Rodney Roubique (Meme) and Frank Roubique (Sandy). Grandchildren Jeff Neyland (Rachel), Jeremy Neyland (Jessica), Jared Neyland, Brandon Nowlin (Jennifer), Brandi Hodges (Ryan), Jana Petty, Blythe Roubique (fiancé Ricky Waguespack), Logan Roubique, Britton Roubique and Justin Roubique (Ryan) and also nine great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Victor "Vic" A. Roubique, her daughter, Phyllis Neyland and son-in-law Carl Neyland, Jr., parents James G. Roth, Sr. and Irene, and brother James G. Roth, Jr.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home in Baton Rouge on May 24 from 5 - 8 pm with rosary at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on May 25 at St. Pius X Catholic Church (6380 Hooper Road, Baton Rouge) from 9 - 10:30 am with Mass to follow at 10:30 am. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery following Mass. Pall bearers will be her grandsons, Jeff Neyland, Jeremy Neyland, Brandon Nowlin, Justin Roubique, Logan Roubique and Ryan Hodges. Honorary Pall bearers will be Jared Neyland, Britton Roubique, Jacob Neyland and Caleb Neyland.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital. The family of Naomi wishes to extend their sincere thanks to loving friend and caregiver Andrea Parker, and The Crossings at Clarity Hospice facility.
