Jacqueline Harris, a native of Holdenville, Oklahoma, and longtime resident of Baton Rouge died October 18, 2013. She was a graduate of the University of Arkansas. As a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church Home and School Association and representative of the Diocese Home and School Association, she initiated sight and hearing screening for the parochial schools and served as president of the Association for the 19591960 term. She is survived by five sons, Gerald Francis and wife Marilyn Alice May, and their children: Heather Ann, Jeremy Phillip, and Amanda Catherine. Son, Michael Marion and wife Mary Elizabeth Knapp. Their children and grandchildren, Andrew and wife Stacie their sons Noah, Luke and Daniel daughter Margaret Jane H. Godwin and husband Scott Godwin, their daughter Meredith Eloise. Daughter Elizabeth Mary H. Osborn and husband Jeffery Osborn, their children, Austin and Taylor. Son, William Francis and wife Summer, their son Jackson Fisher. Son, Jack Patrick, his children and grandchildren, daughter Sharon H. Frilot and husband Clifton Frilot, and daughter Jacqueline. Daughter Julia Jane, her daughter Evangeline Noel daughter Stephanie Ann H. Garcia and husband Andrew Garcia, their sons Kingston Ortho and Maximus Patrick. Son Kevin Lawrence and wife Elizabeth Ann Klimczak, their daughters, Ann Elizabeth, Victoria Frances, and Madeline Margaret. Son Mark Robert and his children and grandchildren, Myles Hamilton, Meredith H. Koon and husband Andrew S. Koon and their children, Andrew, Mason, and Caity and son, Madison Paul. Preceded in death by her parents Harvey Elmot Thomas and Margaret Hamilton Thomas Dobbs Folkins, husband Francis M. Harris, Jr. M.D., and grandson Patrick James Harris. There will be a mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70806, on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 2:30 pm with visitation from 1 pm until 2:30 pm before the funeral service.
