Moses Braggs, Jr., age 69, who was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015.
Moses was a retired Staff Sergeant with the United States Army after serving 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing dominos and racket ball; spending time with family and friends, and watching the western channel.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Anjonette Braggs; four daughters, Shawanda L. Braggs, Dekeisha "Keke" Braggs, Alea C. Henton Braggs, and Diatrice Z. Braggs; three grandchildren, Joseph Patterson II, Ahmaud Williams, and Zoey Henton; one brother, Michael Braggs, Sr.; six sisters, Myrtle Randall (Willie), Judy Braggs, Patricia Braggs, Ruth Braggs Ashford, Leola O'Conner (Keith), and Minister Hattie Brown; numerous nieces and nephews; and special family friends, Duke Ayo, Albert Shelton, Peter Mingo, Raymond Braggs, Rickey Azard, Donald Ray, and many more.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Beatrice Braggs, Sr.; and his sister, Joyce Azard.
The family request visiting hours be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home.
