God gave her a horse and dog and made them best friends. A registered nurse at Our Lady of the Lake Assumption Hospital, Napoleonville, she died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at her mothers residence in Port Vincent. She was 52, a resident of Napoleonville and native of Baton Rouge. She was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University School of Nursing and Central High School. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Wes Courtney. Visiting at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Old Jefferson Highway, Thursday from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, Warren Gonzales mother, Willie Mae Rabb Holt son and daughterinlaw, Montie Grey and Mandy Sibley soon to be born grandson who will be named Montie Greyson Sibley four sisters, Ivllon Ivy Holt Zachary, Myla Sue Holt Matherne and husband Mark, Monya Holt Crowell and husband Clay, and Chere Devall Brown and husband Danny brother, Milton O. Bobby Holt Jr. and wife Cindy brotherinlaw, Dan Sullivan many friends, including special friends, Sweet Olive Randall and Henry Washington and numerous nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews. Preceded in death by her father, Dr. Milton O. Holt Sr. sister, Linda Holt Sullivan maternal grandparents, Velma and Arch Rabb and paternal grandparents, Ligon and Walter Holt. Pallbearers will be Dale Blanchard, Anthony St. Germain, David Connor, Gary Guillot, Huey Hebert and Jerry Hidalgo. Honorary pallbearers are Milton O. Bobby Holt, Warren Rabb, Arthur Pennison and Barry Charlet. She was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church, Labadieville. Special thanks to Hospice in His Care, especially Janette, Toye, Lois, Shana, Bill, Kathleen and Pierre. Big thanks to Joey Templet at Saks Western Store, Gonzales, and Philip Broussard who took care of her saddle, reins and western hat. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice in His Care, 3233 S.
