Monica Guillot

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces that Monica Fisher Guillot passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.

Born in Baton Rouge, LA on August 28, 1937, Monica enjoyed family gatherings, short weekend trips, and traveling to foreign countries including Venice, Italy, Paris, France, London, England, and Holland.

Monica is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, B.J. Guillot; daughter, Stacie Faye George and husband Treé; son, Gregg Michael Guillot and wife Carrie; grandchildren, Anthony Jospeh Streva Jr., Brittany Nicole Guillot, Brooke Renee Guillot and Chandler Scott Streva.

Monica was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Odie C. Fisher and Myrtle H. Fisher; sister, Carmen F. Roy; and special cousin, Lee Van Randell.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

Visiting hours will continue on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, from 2:00 pm until Funeral Services at 3:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
