Molley Cartwright

Molley Carilyn Boone Cartwright was born on April 16, 1986, in Ruston, Louisiana. She passed from this earth to her heavenly home in the early hours of February 20, 2018, in Baton Rouge, after having delivered her precious son, Braddock Stone Cartwright, on February 19 at 12:42 p.m. a healthy baby boy of 9 lbs. 2 oz. and 22 1/2 inches long.
Molley is survived by her beloved husband, Hunter Paul Cartwright; their precious son Braddock; her mother Peggy Hardy Boone and special friend Ron Stockman of Baton Rouge; her father David Enloe Boone and wife Robin of Highland Village, Texas; her step-brothers, Chad Elliott, Wes Elliott and Connor Edwards; her sister, best friend, and confidant Kiley Boone Flowers and Kiley's husband Daniel of Bossier City, Louisiana; and her cherished niece Molley Mikel Flowers, Molley's namesake and that of her late brother Brannon Mikel Boone; her mother-in-law Melanie Beauregard LeJeune and husband Wimpy of Eunice; her father-in-law Mark Cartwright and wife Libby; her sister-in-law Chelsie Cartwright; brothers-in-law Kris Frey, Marshall Abadie, Stone LeJeune, Alden Cartwright, and Paul Cartwright; and Hunter's grandmother, Pat Cartwright.
She is also survived by aunts Marilyn Vick, Carolyn Hardy, Patricia Bossier and uncles Sydney Boone, Lonnie Hardy, Brian Hardy, and Beau Beauregard; great-aunts Peggy Wright, Patricia Bauer, and LaVerne Hardy Latham; and a host of cousins and friends.
Molley was preceded in death by grandparents Lonnie and Mollie Hardy of Vivian and Sydney and Betty Boone of Shreveport, her brother Brannon Mikel Boone, her aunt Arlene Davis, and Hunter's grandparents Mary and Nelson "Buddy" Beauregard of Eunice.
Molley spent her early childhood in Ruston. In 1999, she moved to Baton Rouge, where she graduated from Parkview Baptist School in 2004, and in 2009 from Our Lady of the Lake College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration. Molley was employed as a decision support analyst at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
Molley was a vivacious, funny, friendly and compassionate person who loved spending time with friends and family. She was an excellent homemaker and loving wife. Molley worshiped at Healing Place Church. She was as the Bible describes "a virtuous woman," deeply loved by her husband Hunter. She was a caring daughter, a loving sister, and a faithful friend. One of Molley's greatest joys was the anticipation of becoming a mother-a role for which she was well prepared. There is no doubt that she would have been a wonderful mother. Her family and friends will share precious memories of her with Braddock as he grows up. He will know his mother through the eyes of those who loved her.
Molley enjoyed spending time with her sister Kiley and Molley Mikel, the niece she loved; family; good friends; and her special Best Friends Forever and ever-present support group: Grace Gomez Breaux, Amanda Walker, Casey Jordan Dauzat, and Samantha Sheehan Lantrip; and her pugs Maverick and Murphy. She and Hunter were avid sports fans, especially of LSU football and baseball.
Visitation will be held in the sanctuary of Parkview Baptist Church, 5750 Parkview Church Road, Baton Rouge, on Saturday, February 24, noon to 2 p.m. Services will follow at 2 p.m., officiated by Rev. Wayne Austin of Healing Place Church, the pastor who married Molley and Hunter on October 3, 2015. Interment will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge. Serving as pallbearers are Daniel Flowers, Stone LeJeune, Alden Cartwright, Marshall Arabie, Kris Kogel, Paul Breaux, Eric Dauzat, Aaron Vick, Jareth Rosman, and Jarrod Douglas.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Molley Cartwright Fund through the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
