Mildred "Millie" Volentine, age 78, native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.
She was an active member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Mildred is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, McDonald Volentine, Sr.; sons, McDonald Volentine Jr. and wife Doris, John Christopher Volentine and wife Cheryl; grandchildren, Nicholas Ferrara, Sr. and wife Ashley, Natalie Ferrara Mullen and husband Steven, Mark Dicus and wife Whitney, Eric Dicus, Kyle Volentine, Blake Volentine, and Sarah Volentine; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Ferrara Jr., Nathaniel Ferrara, Nolen Mullen, Addisyn Dicus, and Kaden Dicus; and sister, Judy Thomas and husband A.R.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillie Michael; and daughter, Elizabeth Marie Volentine.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home from 9:00 am until graveside services at 11:00 am.
