A resident of Covington, she died at 4 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at her home. She was 51 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by two sons, Chris Hill and Sean Jones and brother, Randy Slocum. Preceded in death by her parents, Jere R. Sr. and Miriam Cobb Slocum sister, Renee Slocum nephew, Terry Porter and uncle, Al Cobb.
