Michele Zander

"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness." -Galatians 5:22

Michele's life was the embodiment of this verse. The love, kindness and goodness she gave to her family, friends and perfect strangers was a blessing to all. She was born on March 30, 1962 and went to heaven on June 17, 2017. Michele was the President of the Southern Nevada Activity Professionals Association and Activities Director at Silver Ridge Health Care Center, where she devoted herself to bringing joy to the elderly.

Survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Carl Zander; daughter Danielle Zander Carrol and her husband SSgt Nick Carrol; daughter Nicole Zander; son A1C Zachary Zander; father Dean Frick; sisters Nadine Benton and Sarah Odom; mother-in-law Maureen Zander; brothers-in-law Jon Zander, Eric Zander, Matt Zander and Kurt Zander; and sister-in-law Kara Zander. She is also survived and loved by her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and co-workers.

She is preceded in death by her mother Connie Menkens Frick and father-in-law Hans Zander.

A Memorial service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 23, 2017.
