On August 31, 2020, Michael Anthony Welborn a resident of Livonia, Louisiana passed away at the age of 58 years.
Michael was born in Riverhead, New York and grew up traveling the United States. He finally returned to Louisiana where his family was originally from. He attended Tara High School and graduated in 1979. Michael loved playing football with his lifelong friends David Ourso and Trace Tisdale. After high school, Michael went on to study at LSU. In 1985, he married his soul mate, Deborah, and began a life of love and adventure. As a Vice President for Turner Industries, Michael was driven to preform to the best of his abilities and was proud to stand up for his beliefs. He was honored that the company he spent 18 years with had become more like family than coworkers. He was also known for helping those in need. As part of Pointe Coupee’s planning committee, Michael sought out ways to improve the community. He also reached out to the local high school to provide support and appreciation to its teachers and students. He loved the community and worked hard to give back.
