Michael Myles Lloyd, avid fisherman, griller of meat, and connoisseur of cheap beer, passed away peacefully in Baton Rouge, LA on September 10, 2017 at the age of 55. He was born on December 26, 1961 in Dearborn, MI and was an employee of Dow Chemical. He married Lisa Trepagnier and tormented her with his snoring and corny sense of humor for 33 years. Mike lived for barbequing on his beloved Primo Grill and all cuts of meats were doomed to be grilled into tasty morsels for his family's delight. He was a faithful viewer of the Weather Channel, MeTV, The Andy Griffith show, and old, sci-fi B-movies.
Mike is survived by his wife, Lisa Trepagnier Lloyd; son, Myles Lloyd; daughter, Erica L. Fontenot and husband Eric Fontenot; brothers and their wives, Rick and Cathi Lloyd, George and Cathy Lloyd; and mother-in-law, Eva Trepagnier.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Maureen Lloyd; and father-in-law, Roy Trepagnier.
Visitation will take place at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 9:30 am until mass at 11:30 am.
