Merley Meche

Merley Jane Rose Meche, age 81, a resident of Walker, LA passed away on February 26, 2017.

Merley was a member of New Day Christian Centre. A devoted employee of Our Lady of the Lake for 30 years. She loved serving her patients.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Meche and Susan Meche Hutchinson and husband Robert; her brother, Carlton Rose; her grandchildren, Stephanie Lyons, Jennifer Bechtold, Lauren Rath and husband Benjamin, and Berkley Rose Hutchinson; and her great grandchildren, Sophia Lyons and Sybil Lynn Rath.

Merley is preceded in death by her husband, James Meche; her granddaughter, Leah Kay Hutchinson; and her siblings, Ella Mae Venable, Harold Rose, Harry Rose and James Rose.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA, Friday, March 3, 2017 from 9:00am until funeral service at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
