Melba Jean Vercher

Melba Jean Vercher, a resident of Prairieville, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on July 15, 1939, to Odis and Ruby Fuller.

Melba enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, cooking and canning and loving on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed Vercher; and her granddaughter, Kelsey Little.

She is survived by her sons and their wives, Charlie and Chery Little and Keith and Larisa Little; her brother, Glynn Fuller; her niece, Michelle Fuller; her grandchildren, Amanda Oakes (Mac), Eden Little (Felipe) and Tyler Lawson; and her great-grandchildren, Maddy, Aspen, and Prairie.

Services will be held privately at a later date.

The family would like to give special thanks to Waffle House, Bingo Halls, all her friends near and far, and most of all Coca-Cola, her favorite drink.
