Maurice Monrose

Maurice (Mo) Monrose 87, Passed away on Sunday April 22, 2018 at his home. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Martha (Marty) Monrose.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Maurice Blake, Mark Allan and Mitchell Wayne Monrose, daughter-in-law's Becky and Cherie, four grandchildren, Brandon, Avery, Aaron and Farren. Mo retired as an mechanical engineer from ECI and was a graduate of LSU. He joined the USAF and was a Korean War veteran.

He was a dedicated LSU football and baseball fan. He was a golfer and played poker with his friends. He was an avid reader. He loved watching old westerns, Hawaii Five-O and Blue Bloods. One of his favorite things to do in the evenings was drink his Manhattan's and smoke a cigar on the patio of his home.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Tuesday May 1st, 2018 from 10am until memorial services at 11am.
