A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 77 and a homemaker. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting resumes Thursday, from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Gerald Burns. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Westbrook; two sisters, Ann McAlister and Shirley Thomas, and husband, Robert; two brothers-in-law, Nick Messina and Clay Sibley; a brother and sister-in-law, J.D. and Ada Rockford; sister-in-law, Delle Rockford; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine Rockford; three brothers, Dominic, Guy and Phillip Rockford; three sisters, Rose Anselmo, Frances Messina and Louise Copeland Sibley. She was a wonderful housekeeper, cook and caregiver and will be greatly missed.
