Mary Walker

Born in Greenville, TX on August 21, 1925 and a longtime resident of Austin. She passed away after a long illness on September 22, 2013, in Baton Rouge, LA. Jane graduated from Austin High in 1942, and was a sister of UTs Chi Omega sorority. Jane also studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York City. She was predeceased by her husband William A. Walker, Sr. her father, William Dee Dockery her mother, Maude Alice Morris Dockery her sister Maud Alice Peggy Erwin her brother William Dee Dockery, Jr. She is survived by her sons: Donald R. Owen, Jr. and wife Susan William A. Walker, Jr. and wife Debbie by her grandchildren: Donald R. Owen III, Deborah Owen Lantzy, Jeffrey Scott Walker and Brian William Walker, Kylee Paretti Lejeune by her nephew: Dr. William Dee Dockery III and by her nieces: Kathryn Dockery Blair, Deborah Lee Dockery, Pamela A. Erwin and Sandra Kay Beckwith and six greatgrandchildren. She was greatly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
