Mary Ann Gautreau Oliphant, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the age of 68.
She graduated from Istrouma High School in 1970. She recently retired from the City of Baton Rouge. She was an avid reader, always had a book in her hand. She loved playing scrabble, doing puzzles, shopping and spending time with family and friends. She loved her LSU Tigers!
She was survived by her two daughters, Michelle Baker and her husband Kenneth and Peggy O Bouquet; brother, Virgil J Gautreau Jr., and sister Lori Gautreau; six grandchildren Jacey Heikes and her husband Michael, Kacey Baker, Allison Bouquet, Rage Hewitt, Kingston Bouquet, Kristina Bouquet; six great-grandchildren, Alayna Huggins, Jack Heikes, Kayden Peeples, Kyle Pines Jr, A’Kylah Pines, Klayten Peeples.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil J. Gautreau Sr. and Mary Louise Smart Gautreau; two brothers, Charles “Chuck” Ray Gautreau, and Michael James Gautreau.
Visitation will take place at Resthaven Gardens on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 12:30 PM until services at 2:30 PM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
