Mary Ann was a special education teacher in the East Baton Rouge school system for over 25 years, teaching at both Winbourne Elementary and Merrydale Elementary. Through her work, she was able to make an impact on countless children’s lives. Mary Ann loved her family. She would do anything for them and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. She was a great friend, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. She was well-cared for in her final years by her doting husband Larry and other caregivers, including the incredible Charlesena Weeden Kenney and Melinda Murry.
