Mary Jones

A restaurant manager and a resident of Denham Springs, she died Wednesday, July 23, 2008. She was 35 and a native of Biloxi, Miss. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, July 25, was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until religious service at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Andrew Merrick. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her life partner, Trish Miller; parents, Mike and Ginger Jones; brother, Russ Jones; niece, Haley Garon; grandfather, David Andrew Long; and two nephews, Donnie Hynes and Hunter Hasselback. Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John and Gertrude Jones; maternal grandmother, Ruth Descant Long; and cousin, Christin Cosby. Pallbearers will be Russ Jones, Todd Cosby, Preston Long, Jimmie York, Elton Ballard and Stephen Miller. Beth loved the outdoors and going on vacation. She was a very caring and loving person. She touched many hearts. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Donations may be made to the Beth Jones Memorial Fund at Hancock Bank, 225 664-1302.
