Mary Lea Graham Dyer, native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at the age of 86. She is survived by her three daughters, Genevieve Ginny D. Hughes, Jacquelyn Jacqui D. Kirkpatrick and husband Bruce and Gloria Jane Dyer daughterinlaw, Ray Lynn Dwyer Dyer three granddaughters, Laura Lea Hughes Marvin Chip, Stacy Marie Dyer Boe Jay and Ashley Leah Dyer Guidry Derek two grandsons, Raymond Earl Dyer Tara and Capt. Thomas Clay Kirkpatrick five greatgrandchildren, Schuyler Chase Marvin, Jessica Lynne LiRocchi, Nathan Graham Boe, Isabella Dyer Guidry and Brennan James Guidry one greatgranddaughter, Lily Laurel LiRocchi foster sister, Joyce Judge O.D. and sisterinlaw, Rema Lee Boots Graham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Glynn Dyer son, Glynn Ray Butch Dyer parents, Earl Ray and Leah Olevia Milton Graham sister, Dorothy Ray Graham Miller brother, Jack Milton Graham and two foster brothers, Keven and Stanley Graham. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 7, from noon until services at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Mary Lea was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church, where she served on the Board of Trustees. She was a former past chapter president and member of both The National Association of Women in Construction NAWIC and The American Society of Women Accountants ASWA. She also worked for Brown and Butler Civil Engineers and Grace and Newman Architects.
