Mary Boyter

Mary E. Harville Boyter, 79, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017.
Mary was a long time resident of Leesville, LA and a graduate of Leesville High School, Class of 1956. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed an active life playing golf, traveling, and visiting with family and friends.
Mary E. Harville Boyter is survived by her loving husband Charles W. Boyter of Baton Rouge, LA; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Kim Duncan of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter Melinda Duncan of Thibodaux, LA; son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Niza Taliaferro of Garland, TX; step son and daughter-in-law Tommy and Elizabeth Boyter of Prairieville, LA; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Jim Anderson of Houston, TX; sister, Sue Grigsby of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Rose Kraft of Dallas, TX; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceeded in death by her parents, Ivan and Ruth Harville of Leesville, LA; step father, Irwin Malter of Leesville, LA; sister, Ann Hazelswart of Virginia, and step daughter, Stephanie Boyter of Baton Rouge, LA.
Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 11:00 am until funeral services at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow services at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
