Marty Monrose

Marty Monrose, 77, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at her home. Born in Stuttgart, Arkansas she was predeceased by her parents, Cullen and Essie McVay brother, Thomas and wife Helen McVay sister, Dorothy and husband Charles Perez and sisterinlaws, Candy and Jenny McVay. Survived by her loving husband, Maurice J. Mo Monrose brothers, G. W. and Larry McVay sons, Maurice Blake, Mark Allan and Mitchell Wayne Monrose daughterinlaws, Becky and Cherie four grandchildren, Brandon, Avery, Aaron, and Farren. Marty retired as a Chemist from EthylAlbemarle and was a graduate of LSU. She was a dedicated LSU Baseball and Football fan. She was a member of Bengal Belles and Southern Oaks Athletic Club and a past member of Sans Souci, past president of Albermarle Management Club, Krewe of Iris and Softball Players Association SPA. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 1 pm until memorial service at 2 pm.
