Martha was born on October 11, 1928 in Opelousas, Louisiana to Lillian and Luke Joubert. She passed from this life on October 29, 2011 to eternal peace with our Lord and Savior. She lived in Opelousas until age 13, when she moved to Baton Rouge. She married Colonel David Allen Clark on March 25, 1951 in Woodville, Mississippi, with whom she shared her life until her passing. She had two children, Lisse Clark Duvic and Russell Sanford Clark II. Martha spent her years as a homemaker and dedicated Marine Corp officers wife, accompanying her husband while he was stationed in numerous locations throughout the U.S. Martha and her husband returned to Baton Rouge in 1975, after his retirement from the military. She was a loving, caring spouse, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had a kind and generous spirit with a great sense of humor, enjoyed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Martha was saved by the grace of God according to the Gospel of Christ in 1 Corinthians 15:14 and Ephesians 2:89. Besides her husband David and children, Lisse and Russell, she leaves behind to cherish her memory, grandchildren, Rachel Sharp, Stacey, David and Eric Duvic, her great grandchildren, Sydney and Marrisa Harrison, Edward Ace Sharp, Madison and James Duvic, soninlaw, Martin Duvic and friends. Visiting will be at Grace Believers Bible Fellowship, 11020 Stanley Aubin Lane, on Friday, November 4, 2011, from 9:30am until service at 10am with a fellowship reception to follow. Burial will be in Port Hudson National Cemetery on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11am.
