The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want Marlene G. Hunts, a native of Plaucheville, La, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 22, 2013, she was 73 years old. Marlenes greatest love was her family. Spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for family gatherings and cheering on the LSU Tigers gave her great pleasure. Marlene is survived by her loving husband Earl Hunts, children: Kenneth Hunts and wife, Brandi Mary Bachman and husband, Don Julie Hunts and fiance, Randy Guilbeau, grandchildren: Quinton Doss Kenli Doss Marcie Dugas and husband, Luke Natalie Neck and husband, Billy Trent Berniard and Kade McGibboney, great grandchildren: Allison Dugas, Zachary Dugas and Kaylynn Neck. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Nell Guilbeau and brother, Raymond Guilbeau. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, Sunday, March 24, from 3pm until 7pm and will resume Monday, March 25 from 12 noon until religious service at 2pm, conducted by Pastor Jay Coleman of Journey Church. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Honorary pallbearers will be Trent Berniard and Kade McGibboney.
