Marla Hudson

A loving daughter, mother, wife, coworker and friend. She died Thursday, September 22, 2011, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 52. Visiting at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Rd. Greenwells Springs, La., Monday, Sept. 26, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. until 9 pm. Visiting will resume on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 9:30 am until Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Michael Moroney, celebrant. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Survived by her husband David Hudson of 31 years parents Lloyd and Nancy Blanchard two daughters, Brittany Lane Hudson Gros and husband Shawn Craig. Allie Elizabeth Hudson and Boyfriend Joshua David Tanner, along with his daughter Baliegh. Sister, Kay Militello Ryall and Fianc Darryl Arbour. 2 godchildren, niece, Kobi Ryall Russell and nephew, Michael John Ryall Jr., and 1 great nephew Kason Russell as well as cousins and numerous friends and her constant companion Hudson Hudson her beloved pug. Preceded in death by her grandparents Eldon and Gladys Sutcliffe, Father in law and mother in law Thomas and Katherine Melido Hudson, Uncle and Aunt Nick and Ethel Landry. Pallbearers will be Shawn Gros, Josh Tanner, Michael Ryall, Darryl Arbour, Buddy Saucier and Scott Grace. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kason Russell, Gerald Miletello, M.D., William Russell M.D., Larry Hebert M.D. and Darren Ladner.
The Central community has lost one of their own and she will be sadly missed by all. She was very artistic and talented and could create beauty out of anything. She could do anything inside and outside. She lived her life thinking of only of her family and with courage, strength and determination always.
