He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Denise Starr; sisters Mary C. Kuhn (Leo), Sally Mudd (David), Juli Wagner (Jim), and Martha Ray (Ken); brother Jim Starr (Bonnie); many beloved nieces and nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews, including great-niece Amber, whom he helped to raise, and great-great nephew Mitchell, whom he and Denise have been helping to raise; and his life-long best friend whom he considered as a brother, Dene Passafiume.

Mark's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Smiths South-Central Sales, for their love and loyalty, especially Robert Smith and Tommy Stahl whom Mark so greatly loved and admired.
