Marjorie Walker

Marjorie Ann Frederick Walker, 65, was born on July 31, 1947 in Orange, Texas. She passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 12:20 pm at The Butterfly Wing of the Baton Rouge General Hospital. Marjorie fought a good and courageous fight, but lost the battle with cancer. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend that will be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Survived by her mother, Jeanette W. Frederick sisters, Lou Ellen Frederick and husband James Bullock, and Janice Catherine Frederick and husband Paul Wood brother, Eddie Leonard Frederick and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by her father, Leon J. Frederick paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 8:30 am until religious service at 12 noon. Our thanks go out to the doctors, nurses, the staff of the Baton Rouge General Hospital and especially the staff at The Butterfly Wing and Hospice of Baton Rouge.
