She was a homemaker and wonderful mother to her two children. She graduated from John McDonogh High School, New Orleans. She devoted her life to Christ and was a prayer warrior. She was involved in the Magnifcat Prayer Group among others. A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 12:50 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Sherwood Manor. She was 74 and a native of New Orleans. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Dec. 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd., Saturday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., conducted by Monsignor William Green. Entombment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Survived by her daughter and soninlaw, Marie Wegeman and Charles L. Ray and son, Robert E. Wegeman Jr. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Wegeman parents, Frank and Marie Compan Davi and brother, Frank Davi Jr. Pallbearers will be Robert E. Wegeman Jr., Jerry Cronin, Thomas Barfield, Speedy Gonzales, Stephen Landry and Michael Chol. Honorary pallbearer is Hart Dunbar.
