Marie Sances

Ellie Sances passed away on September 17, 2016 at the age of 77. She was a native of Pine, Louisiana in Washington Parish, but has been a resident of Baton Rouge for over fifty years.

Ellie was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dovie Runnels Bedwell and sisters, Lynell Crain and Eleanor Adams.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Santo "Sam" Sances and her brother, William Bedwell of Bogalusa, Louisiana, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church where Ellie has been a parishioner for over 30 years. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Wednesday, September 21, 2016, from 9:00am until 10:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass with Reverend Cleo Malino presiding. Burial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
