Marianne Blackwell

Maine went home to the waiting arms of her grandfathers on May, 20, 2012. She is survived and dearly missed by her parents, Jeff and Dianne Blackwell her sister and brotherinlaw, Suzanne and Ryan Causin and her brother, Patrick P.J. Blackwell. She was a loving Nana to Breanna and Ty Causin, and Shelby Edmondston. She is loved by her grandmothers, Aline Blackwell and Patricia Rivet. Maine previously worked for Clear Channel Entertainment for 11 years and was known to listeners as Kasey Malone. She was employed by WBRZTV. In 2011, Maine was a nominee for Women in MediaBaton Rouge. Maine lived her life to the fullest and never took a moment for granted. We have definitely learned much from her example of how wonderful life can be, if you live it. The family wishes to thank, with immeasurable gratitude, the doctors and nurses with OLOL MSCC Critical Care, especially Terrie, Summer, Chris, Kym and Dr. Robyn Boedefeld. Your love and care touched our daughter, which gave us hope and comfort. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, Thursday 4 to 8 pm. Visitation Friday 9 to 10 am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Mass at 10 am and burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
