Maria Finalet

A native of Cuba and a resident of Miami, Florida for the last 30 years, she was born on December 11, 1917. She passed away at the age of 94 on Monday, September 17, 2012, at Palace at Kendall in Miami, Florida at 3 a.m. A private burial was conducted by the Rev. Jerry Martin at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, September 20, 2012. A memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be held at a later date at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Baton Rouge, LA. An obituary will be published with the date and time announcing the service. She is survived by her son and daughterinlaw, Carlos M. Jr. and Marta O. Finalet of Baton Rouge niece, godchild and caregiver, Carmita Finale and also, nieces: Nilda Finale of Miami, Florida, and Dorita Finale of Madrid, Spain sister, Agustina Perez of Havana, Cuba two grandsons, Carlos M. Finalet III and Rickie Brock. Preceded in death by her husband, Carlos M. Finalet sisters, Clara and Bubuu and a brother, Miguel. Resthaven Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, LA in charge of arrangements.
