Maria Bokowski-Chan

A resident of Baton Rouge, La and a native of Beaver Falls, PA she passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013 at her home at the age of 47. Maria enjoyed baking, needle point and cooking. She volunteered her time as the FRG leader for FSC, 769th Engineer Battalion of the Louisiana National Guard. She was an LSU graduate of 2012 and a member of Tau Sigma Honor Society. Survived by her loving husband, Joseph Y. Chan mother, Rose Maria Bokowski sisters, Karen O Connor, Denise Bokowski and Debra Bokowski brothers, Robert Bokowski, Peter Bokowski and Joseph Bokowski nieces, Meg OConnor, Kylie Hatred nephews, Danny Hatred, Joey Hatred, Marc Dittmeier and Matthew Dittmeier and her dog, Tiny Bubbles. Preceded in death by her father, Peter Bokowski. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 5 pm until memorial service at 7 pm.
