Marguerite Montgomery

A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of HopeVilla, she passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 9:30 at The Carpenter House at the age of 93. She was a long time employee of Breazeale, Sachse Wilson and retired from Fidelity National Bank. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm and will resume on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church from 9:30am until Mass of Christian burial at 10am conducted by Rev. Clifton Hill. Burial to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by two sisters, Zilphia D. Flexsenhar of San Antonio, and Ethelie D. Aubin of Dallas niece, Maralyn Cambre of Baton Rouge and many other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, John R. Montgomery three sisters, Gladys D. Braud, Gertie D. Hobgood, and Katie D. Pourciau two brothers, Millard B. DeLaune and William Alton DeLaune parents, William Bernard DeLaune and Elizabeth Daigle DeLaune. Pallbearers are Gleen T. Cambre, Daniel Cambre, Herbert Hobgood Jr., David Aubin, John Aubin, and Jason Aubin. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
