A homemaker and a resident of Zachary, she died at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 77 and a native of Trinity, Texas. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday, Dec. 16, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Tim O'Neal. She is survived by her husband, Wyatt A. Chester Sr.; two daughters, Juanita S. Chester and Carolyn C. Hebert and husband Mark B. Hebert; two sons, Edwin Tex Chester and wife Janet G. Chester, and Wyatt A. Mickey Chester Jr. and wife Donna C. Chester; daughter-in-law, Lugene Chester; grandchildren, Tiffany M. Fontenot, Shawn Chester, Amy C. Newton, Dena Lewis, Jeremy P. Rabalais, Joshua P. Rabalais, Mark Ben Hebert Jr., Nicole H. Dearman, Erica Lynn Chester and Austin William Chester; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Nannie Harvey; a son, Cecil Wayne Chester; and a grandson, Nicholas P. Rabalais. She was a member of the Fairfield's Chapter Eastern Star until the chapter dissolved. Marguerite was a world-class mom who loved her family.
