Always so loving, thoughtful and kind, what beautiful memories you leave behind. You may have left this world behind, but you will never leave our hearts and mind.

Marguerite Baronne (known as Boots to family and friends) was born on October 11, 1926, in Clinton, LA to Samuel Rowley Irwin and Katherine Nesom Irwin.  She passed away on February 5, 2023, in Baton Rouge at the age of 96.

She was predeceased by her husband Johnny Baronne, son Paul Baronne, grandson Nick Baronne, her parents, sisters Cornelia Cole and Celeste Broussard, brothers Rowley, Alvin and Nelson Irwin, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She is survived by daughters Linda Willson (Jerry), Kathy Farbe (Roger), Toni Evans (John), Son John (Jay) Baronne (Carleen), daughter-in-law Charlotte Baronne, grandchildren Chris (Molly), Jeni and Amy (Julia) Patureau, Stephen and Eric (Jennifer) Evans, Greg, Gina and Kevin Baronne, Christy and Sandra, great grandchildren Leon, Remy, Eugenie Patureau, Bryson, Owen and Ethan Evans, Kaley Baronne, Michaela, Stephen, Samantha, Collin.

Per Boots’ last wishes, a private graveside service for immediate family was held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, conducted by the Reverend Joel Willson with grandchildren and great grandchildren serving as honorary pallbearers. 

The family wishes to thank the staff at Ollie Steele Burden and Bridgeway Health Care and Hospice for the excellent and loving care given to our mother.

A Celebration of Life for our mom will be held on a later date.
