Margaret Q. Ziegler, 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at her home. A native of Washington, LA Beggs and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Margaret was a dedicated school bus driver for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System for 25 years. She enjoyed bird watching, traveling, gardening, and was an avid square dancer. Margaret was a member of the OES Hope Villa Chapter and The Young at Heart Group at Healing Place Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Espenscheid and husband Roy, Charlotte Prestridge two sons, Danny Ziegler and wife Kathy, David Ziegler and wife Ann eight grandchildren, Susan and Julie Espenscheid, Greg Ziegler, Mandy Kellum, Jeff and Jason Ziegler, Amber and Emily Prestridge ten greatgrandchildren sister, Susan Tinney and husband Robert and special friend, Sam Houston Kimbrough, Sr. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, James E. Ziegler grandchild, Margaret Espenscheid parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Quirk, Sr. sister, Celeste Stephenson and brother, Lionel Bro Quirk, Jr. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 5 pm to 8 pm and will resume on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 1 pm until funeral service at 2 pm conducted by Pastor Jim Rentz. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Greg, Jeff, Jason Ziegler, Jay Kellum, Bill Quirk, and George Quirk.
