Margaret Ethel Harelson Jones

A homemaker and resident of Gonzales, she died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at 9:15 p.m. at Sherwood Manor. She was 85 and a native of Brusly. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, on Monday, Oct. 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jerry Martin. Burial will be private. Survived by two daughters, Jackie Mayers and husband Gerald, Gonzales, and Brenda Manske and husband, Richard, Erwinville; son, William L. Jones and wife Annabelle, Denham Springs; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, William Bill Jones; parents, Burgess and Dora Harelson; grandsons, Brent and Kevin Jones; two brothers, Milton and Norman Harelson; sister, Ellen Paille; and Leslie Miller and Norman May. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. Thanks to Heart of Hospice.
