Margaret "Dinky" Lemoine

Margaret “Dinky” Major Lemoine, 79, of Central, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.  Margaret was a devoted mother, Nana, aunt, and friend to many.  She was very active in her church, St. Alphonsus and was part of the church prayer line.  She was the most fun person to be around, always making everyone laugh.  Dinky is survived by her children, Kevin Patrick Lemoine and Kimberly Ann Badinger; her grandson, Carson Blaise Badinger; siblings, Barbara Manchester, Roger Major, Jr., and John Major; and her bestfriend of over 52 years, Cheryl “Leonardo” Leonard.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Keith Lemoine; her grandson, Kameron Cade Badinger; her parents, Roger Major, Jr. and Mae Thibodeaux; and sister, Fern David. Visitation will be held at Resthaven funeral home at 11817 Jefferson Highway on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 10a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. We will miss her terribly, but we celebrate her reunion with those that have gone before her to be with our Heavenly Father.  Family and friends may sign the online guestbook or leave a personal note to the family at www.resthavenbatonrouge.com.
