Margaret Laurie

Margaret F. Laurie, 94, passed away at home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on July 3rd, 2018. She was born on January 8, 1924 in Geismer, LA.
She was retired from the Beer Industry League. Margaret was a member of the St. George Parish.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynette Clooney (Thomas J. Clooney III); sons, John S. Laurie III and Steven H. Laurie (Tamara Laurie); grandchildren, Laurie Lewis, Michele Clooney, Stacy Perry, Robin Richardson, Katie Moran, Kimberly Broussard, Kristy Webb, and David Laurie; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Keith A. Falcon; and sister, Barbara F. Mixon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernice LeBlanc and Thomas H. Falcon, Sr.; husband, John S. Laurie, Jr.; sisters, Shirley F. Troth, Mazie F. Rousell, and Sue F. LeBourgeois; brothers, Thomas Falcon, Desire Jules "Shorty" Falcon, and Bernie P. Falcon
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 7, 2018, at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 Saint George Dr., Baton Rouge, from 9:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in the church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to St. Jude and Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
