Marcelle Staring

A homemaker, she died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 83 and a native of Harrisonburg. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, Aug. 14, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Randy Currier, associate pastor of New Testament Church. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by two sons, George R. Bobby and wife Cheryl Staring and Gary F. and wife Debbie Staring a sister, Pug and husband Loma Guice, of Sicily Island and four grandchildren, Hays Staring, Paul Staring, Will Staring and Alan Staring. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Staring. Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge, 9063 Siegen Lane, Suite A, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
