Mangalacrusayal Charles

Mangala Crusayal Charles, 68 years old passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024. She was born on February 3, 1956, in Gobichettypalayam, Tamil Nadu to her parents, Irudhayasamy and Mariamma.

Mangala Crusayal loved cooking, gardening, and outdoor activities. She was an active Crocheter. She also loved to travel and visited Canada, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Mexico, the Bahamas and Cayman Islands.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Savarior and her father, Irudhayasamy.

Mangala Crusayal is survived by her mother, Mariamma; her daughter, Geneive Xavier, Son-in-law Joseph Xavier; her son, Cyril Charles, Daughter-in-law Deepthi  Arokiasamy; her sisters, Jebamalai Mary and Sr Lucy; her brothers, G. I. Charles and I.Thomas; and her grandchildren, Alexander Veron Xavier, Vivian Jerome Xavier, Jeriel Arokian Charles and Auriel Mystica Charles.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the known and unknown friends and family who were part of Mrs. Mangala Crusayal Charles journey of life.

Visitation will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane in Baton Rouge, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 10 am with funeral mass beginning at 11am. The burial of the ashes will take place at a later day at her native place, Gobichettypalayam, Tamil Nadu in India.
