Mamie Antionette Pizzolato Messina Terrell, loving mother grandmother and great-grandmother, born July 4th, 1939 passed away peacefully on December 11th, 2020 at the age of 81. A native of Donaldsonville, LA, and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, she is survived by her daughter Theresa Bearden and husband Donnie; sons, Phillip and Paul Messina; 2 sisters; 4 brothers; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved and touched deeply. Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, longtime friend, and love, Peter C. Messina in 1991. Mamie also found a new love, husband, Dwain Terrell, who preceded her in death in 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jake Pizzolato and Elma Talbot; sister, Catherine Stubbs; brothers, Robert, Bobby, Vincent and Jake Pizzolato Jr.; son, Peter C. Messina Jr.; and grandson, Peter C. Messina III. Mamie, Mom, Mother Maw Maw love love loved and adored her family very much. Her favorite pass time was Sac a lait fishing. She was very proud winning the Classic Sac a lait tournament with her son, Paul! Everyone loved her spaghetti and meatball dinners. They were the best! She loved feeding her birds for years. Mamie enjoyed watching Jefferson Baptist Church every Sunday. Mamie's love will always remain in our hearts.
