Malcom C. Gwin, Jr., 77, of Baton Rouge, passed away on March 22, 2016 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2016 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. Officiant will be Fr. Mike Schatzle. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home.

Malcolm was born in Baton Rouge to Malcolm G win, Sr. and Mildred Matherne Gwin on February 12, 1939.

Malcolm was an all-around man and a jack of all trades. He was also a good leader and was very self-driven. Malcolm was a Hospital Navy Corpsman and worked at the US Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Fl. He also worked as a computer programmer for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.

Malcolm is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sandra Gwin; his sons, Colin and wife Dawn, and Kevin; his grandchildren, Colin Piazza and Dominic Piazza; and his sister, Nina Gwin Peters, and husband Tom.
