Madeline "Maddie" Richey

Madeline “Maddie” Estay Richey, a native of Patterson, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away at the Baton Rouge General on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the age of 59.  Those that knew and loved her, often times called her Honey.  She worked for 32 years as a nurse at the Baton Rouge General.  She enjoyed working in her yard, skating, spending time with family and friends, and loved LSU baseball.

She is survived by her children, Holly Elizabeth Richey, and Thomas "Little Tommy" Joseph Richey and wife Savanna; grandchildren, Juliana Richey, Harper Gulliksen; mother, Fedora Estay; brothers, Neal Estay and Sonny Estay; and sisters, Paulette, Lydia, and Jane.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hiram Richey; and father, Wallace Joseph Estay.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
