Madeline Louise Goudeau Porter

Madeline Louise Goudeau Porter, 98, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at her home. She was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, and a native of Erwinville, LA.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Sidney Louis Porter; her parents, Joseph Ulysse Goudeau and Ann Noelie Brugier Goudeau; her brother, James Victor Goudeau; and her sisters, Juanita Goudeau Cacioppo, Imogene Goudeau Barbay, and Rita Mae Goudeau Ranzino.

Madeline is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a wonderful wife, homemaker, and talented seamstress. She was also an astute and competitive Booray player.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to her loving care givers, Jennifer, Paulette, and Pat. The family also wishes to extend its heartfelt appreciation to her nephew, Pete Ranzino, for his years of dedicated loving care and service to both Louis and Louise.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, beginning at 9am until services at 11am. Interment to immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
