Mable Bienvenu

Mable O. Bienvenu, born in Holum, La on April 2, 1918 to Green and Georgia Gardner Ferguson, one of 12 children, passed away on May 26, 2012 at Baton Rouge General in The Hospice of Baton Rouge Ward at the age of 94. She is survived by her sisters, Emma Mixon, and Elsie Broussard three stepdaughters, Jo Bienvenu of Austin, Tx and her two daughters, Bonnie and Penny, Pauline Wood and husband Ed, and their two children, Tim and Sophia and Martina Bienvenu and her partner, Kendra Smith, of Rockville, Maryland and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Bienvenu who died two years ago. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 10 am until religious services at 11:30 am.
