A resident of Baton Rouge for 60 years and a Diamondhead, Miss., resident for five years, she died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, in Baton Rouge. She was 86 and a native of Melville. Survived by two daughters and two sons, Suzanne and her husband, James Orr, of Baton Rouge, Carolyn O'Brien, of Tennessee, Randy Caldwell, of Baton Rouge, and James and his wife, Penny Caldwell, of Diamondhead; 10 grandchildren, Ricky, David and Ronny Orr, Kathryn and Joseph Caldwell, Lucas and Chelsea Caldwell Wilson, Shawnee White Brenkman, Cheyenne White and Micayla O'Brien; great-grandson, Christopher Orr; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Caldwell; parents, Joseph and Aola Wiltz; brother, Lawrence Wiltz; and sister, Violet Waggenspack. Pallbearers will be Rick, David and Ronny Orr, Cheyenne White, Lucas and Joseph Caldwell. Arrangements by Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home and Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 8:30 a.m. until a service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Andrew from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory to follow. She was a good wife, a great mom, a good friend and a good person. She was also a great substitute mom to all of the needy friends, odd animals or whatever we brought home, she took them all in. Everyone and everything was better for having known her. She will be greatly missed.
